This t-shirt features a digital print of the iconic deejay, Supercat in Toronto from 1983.
Born to a Jamaican mother and Indian father, Supercat grew up in Kingston with an obsession to work in music. By the age of seven, he was sneaking out of the house at night to visit the local dancehall. He became well known in Jamaica as part of the deejaying duo “Early B and Supercat”. In 1982 he recorded ‘Mr Walker’ and subsequent smash hits such as ‘Boops’ in 1985. He later moved to New York and worked with artists such as Notorious B.I.G, achieving huge crossover success through his classic album ‘Don Dada’ in 1991.
All of our t-shirts are 100% ring-spun Organic Cotton. They are printed using vegan and 100% phthalate free ink.
